To celebrate the launch of the integration Matt Spiegel, CEO and co-founder of Lawmatics, joined us on Financially Legal. Matt has been building technology for lawyers for more than a dozen years. Matt started MyCase back in 2009 as a criminal defense lawyer. And, after he sold it in 2012, MyCase has gone on to be one of the biggest cloud-based law practice management systems in the world.
In 2017 Matt jumped back into the world of building technology for law firms with Lawmatics. As you’ll hear, Lawmatics was originally envisioned as a customer relationship management tool for lawyers and law firms but the more they built, the more their law firm customers asked for more functionality, specifically time and billing functionality. And that brings us to the present day the launch of the Lawmatics time and billing module including Lawmatics payments, powered by Confido Legal.
