Why do we have ACH Limits?
This article explains the purpose of the default ACH limits place on your Confido Legal account.
While ACH is a cost-effective method for collecting payments, it comes with unique risks not associated with card payments. Unlike other payment methods, an ACH payment may be disputed by the client or returned to the firm in varying timeframes. When such a return occurs, it is likely the offsetting credit has already been completed, potentially leaving Confido at a loss.
Therefore, we complete a financial review of each firm to determine appropriate limits.
