What is a Stored Payment Method?
Stored Payment Methods are the building blocks of automated billing.
What is a Stored Payment Method (SPM)?
Stored Payment Methods allow clients to store their card or bank details securely for future transactions. Subscriptions rely on current Stored Payment Methods for automated billing.
How do clients store their payment methods?
- Clients can store payment methods voluntarily when they make a payment to your firm using Payment Links. On the Payment Link, the client can select Store card or account information for future payments.
- You can Create a Stored Payment Method Link to collect this information from the client. This option will only collect the card or bank details from the client; it does not process a transaction.
