Billing Report for Transaction Fees
Confido's Billing report provides a clear and consistent view of your firm’s monthly transaction activity and associated fees. Billing replaces traditional monthly statements and is designed to give you faster access to your billing information, along with improved transparency into how fees are calculated.
Location
- To find Billing, navigate to Reports > Billing. You will see a bill for each period in which your firm processed a transaction.
- If there are no transactions processed during the month, a bill will be generated for $0.00.
Bill Summary
This section shows a summary of your firm’s activity for the billing period.
- Total: The total fees for the billing period.
- Effective Rate: The total cost of processing as a percentage of total payment volume.
- Number of Payments: The total number of transactions processed.
- Total Payment Volume: The total dollar amount processed.
- Average Payment Amount: The average transaction size.
- Total Surcharge Savings: Any savings from processing fees paid by clients, if applicable.

Bill Items
This section provides a detailed breakdown of all transactions included in the billing period. Each row represents a transaction and includes:
- Created On: The date the transaction was processed.
- Description: Amount, payment type and client reference details.
- Bank Account: Firm's deposit account associated with the transaction.
- Fee: The fee applied to the transaction.
You can use filters within this section to review specific transactions or narrow your view, or download a CSV file.
Real-Time Activity
Billing allows you to view the current month’s activity before the billing period is finalized.
This provides a real-time view of transactions and fees as they are processed, rather than waiting for a completed statement at the end of the month.
Fees
Fees may appear differently depending on the payment method.
- ACH Fees: Typically appear alongside each transaction in real time.
- Credit Card Fees: May not appear in real time for every transaction. These fees may instead be grouped and posted as a single charge at the beginning of the following month for the prior month’s activity.
Please note: Depending on your firm's processing configuration, individual debit or credit card transactions may not appear in Bill Items. Firms using a legacy configuration will instead see a separate bill for the same period that reflects the associated fee amounts only, without listing individual transactions.
Debits
Billing timing is based on the period shown in your Bill Summary.
You can determine your billing schedule by reviewing the Bill Period displayed at the top of your bill.
If your bill shows a semi-monthly period (for example, March 1–15 or March 15–31):
- Fees for activity from the 1st through the 15th are generally debited on the 16th of the same month.
- Fees for activity from the 15th through the end of the month are generally debited on the 2nd of the following month.
For example, transactions processed from March 1 through March 15 will be debited on March 16. Transactions from March 15 through March 31 will be debited on April 2.
If your bill shows a full monthly period (for example, March 1–31):
- All fees are generally debited around the 2nd of the following month for the prior month’s activity.
Additional Notes
- Billing replaces Statements for all new activity beginning with your March 2026 billing period.
- Previous statements will remain available for reference.
- All new billing information will be available exclusively in the Billing section beginning with March 2026.
