      How do I receive a smartphone push notification every time a payment is processed?

      In this tutorial, we will walk through the steps to create a Zapier "Zap" that sends a push notification from the Pushover app whenever a payment is processed in Confido Legal.

      Prerequisites

      • Create a Zapier account.
      • Create a Pushover account.
      • Create a Confido Legal account. 

      Create the Push Notification Automation

      • Create a new Zap Log in to your Zapier account and click the "Make a Zap" button in the top menu.
      • Set up the Trigger: Choose Confido Legal as the trigger app and select "Payment Processed" as the trigger event.
      • Connect your Confido Legal account with Zapier. If you haven't done this already, you will be prompted to provide your Confido Legal account credentials.
      • Once you've connected your Confido Legal account, Zapier will ask you to choose the Confido Legal account and the client/matter you want to monitor for payments. You can also select "All Clients" to receive notifications for all payments. Select the appropriate options and click "Continue".
      • Set up the Action. Now it's time to set up the Pushover app as the action. Choose Pushover as the app and select "Send Push Notification" as the action event.
      • You will need to connect your Pushover account with Zapier. Provide your Pushover User Key and API Token in the fields provided and click "Continue".
      • Next, you will need to configure the push notification message. In the "Message" field, enter the text you want to send in the push notification. You can use the available fields to customize the message. For example, you could use the "Payment Amount" and "Matter Name" fields to include the payment amount and matter name in the push notification.
      • Test and Turn On the Zap Finally, it's time to test your Zap. Zapier will ask you to test the connection between Confido Legal and Pushover by sending a test push notification. If everything is set up correctly, you should receive the test notification on your device.
      • Once you've tested the Zap, you can turn it on by clicking the "Turn Zap On" button.
      • Congratulations! You have successfully set up a Zap that sends a push notification from the Pushover app whenever a payment is processed in Confido Legal. Now you can sit back and let Zapier take care of the rest!
