      How can you send money through Disbursements?

      You can send money using Confido Disbursements

      Accessing Disbursements

      With Confido Disbursements, firms can now send money to clients or vendors using Confido Legal's platform.

      Recipients can add Bank Accounts in two ways:

      1. Plaid

      2. Manually

      Recipients can receive Disbursements in two ways

      1. ACH Bank Transfer
      2. Push to Card

      Please note that sending Disbursements carries some risk because you are sending funds from your account.  Here are some best practices as you send Disbursements to clients or other recipients:

      1. Only send Disbursements to those you know. Once Disbursements are claimed, you may not be able to get the funds back.
      2. Treat Disbursements like sending cash.
      3. Ensure that Multi-factor authentication is enabled on your Confido account.
      4. Confirm your client's or recipient's contact information. The client or recipient must verify their email address as part of claiming their Disbursement. You will want to verify you have the correct email on file for that client or recipient.
